Semester Project Self‐Review (SPSR)

PARENT EXPRESS

PUROSE:

This project was based on single parents or even parents in general that have a busy schedule and can’t find time to balance their daily life and fitness. Therefore, I have came up with exercise that only took 3 to 5 minutes of their time to do and gave the steps on how they could do it.

SUMMARIZE:

It took me a while to really figure out how I wanted to organize my blog, I couldn’t figure out what topics I really wanted to stay on. Also, because I am a professional dancer, I exercises would be easier for me to comprehend and give better work. I was balancing on recipes and exercise.  When I came to a conclusion that exercise will have more options and more things to talk about, I stuck with it.  Honestly, I don’t know how to cook so that would have been really difficult for me. Even though I am a mother myself, I am blessed to have people that cook for me and my daughter.

AUDIENCE CHOICE

My audience choice is parents. I chose this because I am a parent and I have many of friends that are parents as well. Therefore, it was easy for be to stay in my comfort zone because of the fact that this is what I am familiar with. Also with my audience choice, I know a lot of parents who need these exercise tips to stay in shape and keep their motivation of exercising to make them feel like a different person and stronger.

TONE

My tone in my project is direct and informative.  Teaching people about exercise and giving them steps, you have to be prĂ©cised, that is the only way they’re going to be able to comprehend it without it actually being done in front of them. Also I gave them pictures so they would be able to see a visual of the exercises.

STRUCTURE/ORGANIZATION

My structure is very simple and I kept it throughout my whole blog. One thing I am not a writer never been one, so that is always have been my downfall. Therefore, I kept my structure and organization simple and the same. If I didn’t do that, it would have been very hard for me. I stayed with my subject and stayed with it. I had other ideals, but I wanted to keep it simple.

SATISFIED

I am actually satisfied with how my blog turned out, I never done a blog before and honestly, I thinking about actually staying with it. It was actually fun and also probably could help my writing skills get better. I always determined to find ways to get better in whatever I do in life, therefore, I am interesting how far I could actually go.

DISSATISFIED

I think the only thing I am not satisfied with and this is actually personal, I wish I could get my brain to find different ways of saying things or even I wish I were a better writer. I have great ideal, but it so hard for me to actually put them in words. Therefore, I think with me staying with this blog, could help me become a stronger writer.
